WhatSurah works best with 2–10 players. You can play solo as a learning exercise, or in teams for larger groups.

A typical game lasts 30–40 minutes. You can adjust the winning target (default is 10 points) to make games shorter or longer.

Yes, the app plays the Quran recitation clips. However, you don't need to download anything — simply scan the QR code on each card with your phone's camera. iOS and Android both detect QR codes natively and will open the clip in your browser.

The dedicated mobile app (coming soon) offers offline play and additional features.

The app currently features Mishary Alafasy, Abdurrahman As-Sudais, and Abu Bakr al-Shatri. You can switch reciters in the settings.

Yes, an active internet connection is needed to stream the audio clips. The mobile app (coming soon) will support offline downloads.

Yes! We offer a free Print & Play PDF for home printing. You can also use the web app to practice listening and identifying surahs without cards.

The boxed edition includes 114 double-sided cards (one per surah), rulebook, and optional score chips. Each card shows surah information on the front and a unique QR code on the back.

The app and game interface support English, Arabic, French, German, and Turkish. The Quran recitation is always in classical Arabic.
