Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By accessing whatsurah.com or using the WhatSurah mobile app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms are provided by launch0.dev ("we", "us", "our").
2. The Service
WhatSurah is a QR-based Quran audio card game. The web app and mobile app let players scan physical cards, listen to Quran recitation clips, and play a knowledge-based card game about the order of the 114 surahs. Audio is streamed from the Quran Foundation's API and is not hosted by us.
3. Intellectual Property
The app code, design, and game mechanics are the intellectual property of launch0.dev and may not be reproduced without permission.
Quran recitation audio is provided via the Quran Foundation API and is subject to their terms and the rights of the respective reciters. We do not claim ownership of any Quranic content.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Scrape, reverse-engineer, or redistribute any part of the service.
Use the app in any way that infringes the rights of third parties.
Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
5. Preorders & Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. By placing an order you also agree to Stripe's terms.
Preorders are fulfilled when the first print run is ready. We will notify you by email with a shipping estimate.
If we are unable to fulfil your preorder, you are entitled to a full refund. Contact hello@launch0.dev for any order issues.
EU consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital products and physical goods, subject to applicable exceptions.
6. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability of the audio streams, which depend on the Quran Foundation's infrastructure. We are not affiliated with the Quran Foundation or any official Islamic body.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, launch0.dev's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the country in which launch0.dev is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable EU law.
9. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. The current version is always available at this URL with its effective date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes your acceptance.
